What Is All-Star Cheer?

All-Star cheerleading teams are usually made up of 8-40 athletes. The coaches create a competition routine performed by the group that has elements of tumbling, stunting, jumping, dance, and other skills set to music. The routines are typically 2 1/2 minutes in length. At competitions, the teams are divided by age and ability level. The routines are judged by their level of difﬁculty, precision, creativity, and entertainment value.

AmeriSports Firecrackers Show Team (Ages 4–7)

Beginning this September, AmeriSports is excited to introduce the Firecrackers Show Team, designed specifically for athletes ages 4–7. This program provides young cheerleaders with the opportunity to experience team cheer in a fun, supportive, and age-appropriate environment while developing foundational skills and confidence.

Throughout the season, athletes will:

Practice once per week for one hour.
Learn the fundamentals of cheer in a positive and encouraging setting.
Develop confidence, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.
Improve tumbling, jumps, motions, and overall performance technique.
Perform at 3–4 local competitions beginning in January.
Build friendships and create lasting memories.

No tryouts are required—every athlete is welcome to join.

The season begins in September and runs through May. Space is limited, so we encourage families to register early to reserve their athlete's spot.

Cost: 9 monthly instalments of $195 + Uniform and equipment costs

AmeriSports Rebels Junior Prep Team is still accepting athletes
The Rebels are perfect for athletes who are ready to grow their skills, build confidence, make lifelong friendships, and experience the thrill of competitive cheer in a fun, encouraging environment.

Team Placement

Team placements are determined based on age, skill level, experience, attitude, and team needs.
Our goal is to place every athlete in the best position for success.
Placements are guided by tryouts and coach evaluations. Team announcements will be after tryouts conclude.
Please note that teams, roles, and routines are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the coaching staff.
