*Game Days: Most games are played on Fridays or Saturdays. The event schedule may require some updates to game dates.  We will do our best to stick as closely to these dates as possible.

League Divisions

Families will have the opportunity during registration to select the division that best fits their athlete’s skill level and experience.

• Division 1 – Competitive Play
  Designed for experienced players and established teams, Division 1 brings together athletes who are ready to elevate their game. This division features higher-level competition, fast-paced play, and the opportunity to compete against outside teams and strong local talent.

  • Outside teams will automatically be placed in D1. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. Please contact the League Director with any questions regarding placement.

• Division 2 – Recreational Play
  Our Division 2 Recreational League is ideal for players who are new to basketball or continuing to develop their skills. This division emphasizes fundamentals, growth, teamwork, and confidence in a positive and encouraging environment.

  • All AmeriSports teams will be placed in Division 2 by default. Placement into Division 1 will only occur upon formal request from the team’s coach.

*All Kindergarten–1st Grade players will participate in the Division 2 Recreational League.

• Policies and League Fees

  Player Fees:

  • Player Registration Fee: $205

  • Annual League Membership: $30

  • AmeriSports Jersey: $30

  • AmeriSports Shorts: $20

  Late Registrations:

  Don’t miss out! A late fee of $20 will be applied to all player registrations completed after the deadline, subject to availability.

  Refund Policy:

  Need a refund? A $30 administrative fee will be charged for refunds requested before registration closes. Please note, no refunds will be issued after registration closes, for any reason.

  Annual League Membership Policy:

  Stay in the game! All players must have an active annual league membership to participate in AmeriSports Youth Leagues.

  Jersey & Shorts Policy:

  Look sharp on game day! AmeriSports team players are required to wear an AmeriSports Jersey and AmeriSports shorts.

  Placement Clinic Policy:

  There will be no placement clinic.

  Have Fun Policy:

  Most importantly, all AmeriSports players are required to have a blast playing in our league!

• Bring your own team and register with or without a weekly practice.

• Team registration is not for AmeriSports coaches and players.

• All players on the roster must have an active annual league membership to play at AmeriSports.

• Cancellations before registration deadline will incur a $30 administrative fee.

• Cancellations after registration deadling are non-refundable.

• There will be no placement clinic for this season. 

• 1 hour practice per week at AmeriSports Rockwall

• Teams will request practice times for the AmeriSports courts during registration

• Are the weekly practices half court or full court?

  Full court

• What size basketball does my child need?

  Size 5 - 27.5” – Grades K-1st.

  Size 6 - 28.5” – Boys grades 2nd-5th. Girls grades 2nd and up.

  Size 7 - 29.5” – Boys grade 6th and up.

• Can I bring my own Jersey?

  AmeriSports players need an AmeriSports jersey & AmeriSports Shorts (Apparel is not included with registration fee).

  Team registrations will provide their own jerseys.

• Am I required to purchase a new jersey every season?

  No. AmeriSports players can use the same jersey in future seasons.

• Will I be charged a $30 league membership fee every season?

  No. This is an annual membership fee for the league.

• Will there be more than one league season per year?

  Yes. AmeriSports currently runs have 5 seasons per year.
