Skills Program Overview
The K–1st Grade Basketball Skills Program is designed for young athletes who are new to the court or still building their confidence with the fundamentals of basketball.
Instead of being limited to an 8-week session, athletes can now join at any time and continue developing month after month. Each session provides a fun, welcoming environment where players can learn the basics, build confidence, and develop a love for the game.
Sessions focus on age-appropriate fundamentals, including dribbling, passing, shooting, footwork, coordination, and learning how to play the game. Coaches will help athletes develop at their own pace while creating a positive first experience with basketball.

Monthly Skills Membership
Includes: Unlimited Access to K–1 Basketball Development Sessions
When: Every Tuesdays and Thursdays Nights from 5-6pm.
Monthly Cost: $150 per athlete with unlimited access to classes
Flexibility: Join at any time — no need to wait for a new session to begin

Skills Drop-In
Includes: 1 development session with pay-as-you-go flexibility
Cost per Session: $30
Limit: A maximum of 4 drop-in sessions per month

We’re bringing a new look to the AmeriSports K–1st Grade Co-Ed Basketball League! Designed for our youngest athletes, this league focuses on building fundamental basketball skills, developing confidence, and creating a fun, positive introduction to the game.

Season Dates: Nov 17 - Feb 5

Winter Hoops Tip-Off Night: Nov 13 | 6pm-8pm
Playoffs: Feb 2-5
The Youth Basketball Session is designed to serve both individual players and coach-registered full teams in one unified league format. Boys & girls from Kindergarten through 12th grade are welcome to participate. Teams will play 8 regular season games, followed by a single-elimination playoff week to crown division champions.
Division Structure
AmeriSports will work to create divisions that provide the best possible competition and experience for all players.Divisions will be formed, when possible, based on:
The number of teams registered in each age group
Coach input on the competitive level of their team
Team performance and records from previous seasons
Overall roster and division balance

Join us for Winter Hoops Tip-Off Night, a fun kickoff event to get players and families ready for the upcoming AmeriSports Winter Basketball League!
$10/person (covers pizza and drinks)Event Details
Time: 6:00 PM – 8 PM
Uniform Pickup: Players will receive their uniforms during check-in.
Player Activities: Enjoy basketball games, shooting challenges, and friendly competitions.
Parent Orientation: Learn about league divisions, season format, game rules, playoffs, schedules, and communication.
Parent Q&A: Connect with AmeriSports staff, ask questions, and share feedback.
Pizza & Drinks: Enjoy refreshments and connect with fellow families.
This event is a great opportunity for players to have fun, families to get informed, and everyone to start the winter season feeling prepared and excited!

If you are unable to attend Winter Hoops Tip-Off Night, your jersey will be available for pickup at the front desk during your team's first scheduled practice. Please stop by the front desk to collect your jersey before practice begins.

Note Game Days: Most games days are scheduled for Fridays and/or Saturdays. Depending on our event calendar, some game dates may need to be adjusted. We’ll do our best to keep games on these days whenever possible and communicate any changes as early as we can.

Player & Team Registration
All players will register directly through AmeriSports. Players may request to play for a specific coach or team during registration.Coaches will register through AmeriSports to coach their team. AmeriSports will work with coaches to keep established teams together while also helping balance rosters when needed.
Coaches, please select the appropriate link below to register for the division you would like to coach (e.g., Boys League select the Boys Registerion… Girls League, Girls Registrations ect.). -
All teams participating in the league will be AmeriSports teams and will wear AmeriSports uniforms.
Our goal is to create competitive, balanced games while providing an environment where players of all experience levels can develop, compete, and enjoy basketball.
AmeriSports Jersey & Shorts Requirements
All AmeriSports team players are required to wear an AmeriSports Jersey.If you do not own an AmeriSports Jersey, you must add it during checkout at registration.
Jerseys and shorts will be available the week of your first practice.
Players who already own an AmeriSports Jersey and shorts from a previous season may continue wearing them.
