Youth Volleyball Leagues

• This registration is for players registering to play on an AmeriSports team with an AmeriSports coach.

• All AmeriSports Team players should use this registration.

• All players must register for the current league and hold an active annual facility membership ($30 annually) to play in the league.

• THIS REGISTRATION IS NOT FOR OUTSIDE TEAM COACHES

  League Fees:

• Season Registration - $250

  Player Fees:

• Annual Membership - $30

• AmeriSports Jersey - $30

• Cancellations made after registration closes are not refundable.

• This registration is for coaches registering to bring their own team, provide their own coach and provide their own jerseys.

• After registration you will receive instructions on how to roster your players.

• All players must be on your roster and must hold an active annual facility membership ($30 annually) to play in the league.

• THIS REGISTRATION IS NOT FOR AMERISPORTS COACHES OR PARENTS TO REGISTER THEIR AMERISPORTS TEAM.

• AMERISPORTS PLAYERS MUST USE THE INDIVIDUAL PLAYER REGISTRATION AND REQUEST THE AMERISPORTS COACH THEY WANT TO PLAY WITH.

  League Fees

• Teams with Weekly Practices - $1,775

• Teams with No Practices - $1,500

  Player Fees

• Annual Membership - $30

Divisions

• AmeriSports leagues have two Divisions for age groups with enough teams to accommodate.

• D1 (Experienced) - Playing in this league is ideal for teams who have played together before or for players that have mastered the basics. Working towards identifying specific positions on the floor and responsibilities. Athletes will be subbing per position. Athletes are aware of serve receive, base defense, and transitioning from defense to offensive positions.

• D2 (New) - Ideal for players who are new to the sport or are still working on fine-tuning their fundamentals. Might have played one year or two of organized volleyball but need a better understanding of the court. Still working on the overhand serve and three contacts on the ball prior to crossing the net.

  Team Assignment

• There will be two placement sessions options for team rostering. If trying out for D1, only one placement clinic is required.

• Placement is REQUIRED for New D1 players that DID NOT play in previous season (already placed).

• Placement for new D2 players is optional and encouraged.

• For players that do not make D1, AmeriSports will do everything we can to get players on the best team with the following inputs:

  • Player Experience

  • Players coach request

  • Players request to be on team with other players

One, 1 hour practice per week to be held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.

• Where do we practice and play games?

• Can I bring my own Jersey?

  AmeriSports players need an AmeriSports jersey (Jerseys are not included with registration fee).

  Team registrations will provide their own jerseys.

• Am I required to purchase a new jersey every season?

  No. AmeriSports players can use the same jersey in future seasons.

• Will I be charged a $30 membership fee every season?

  No. This is an annual league membership

• Will there be more than one league season per year?

  Yes. AmeriSports currently plans to host 4 seasons per year.
